01How does the 7-day free trial work?
You sign up, connect (or create) a Stripe account, and you're in. After 7 days, you're charged the monthly or annual rate for the plan you chose. Cancel anytime before day 8 — no charge, no questions.
02Do I need my own Stripe account?
No. Invosi works with any Stripe account — bring your own and keep your existing payment history and payout schedule, or let Invosi create one for you in two clicks during signup. Bank transfer is also available with no Stripe fees at all.
03What payment methods are supported?
Two options. (1) Card payments via Stripe — whatever Stripe supports in your country: cards, ACH (US), SEPA (EU), Faster Payments (UK), Apple Pay, Google Pay. Stripe takes their standard processing fee (typically 1.5% + 20p for UK cards, 2.9% + 30¢ for international). (2) Bank transfer — your IBAN / sort code / routing number appears on every invoice, client transfers manually, no fees at all. Most clients prefer the second once they see it.
04How does VAT and GST work?
Invosi auto-detects your client's country from their billing address and applies the right treatment: reverse charge for B2B EU invoices, zero-rated GST for AU exports, US sales tax for domestic clients. EU VAT numbers are validated against VIES in real time. Every invoice carries the correct line, registration number, and legal footnote for the jurisdiction.
05Do you support currencies other than USD?
Yes. Starter, Pro, and Scale are billed in USD, EUR, GBP, or AUD — the pricing page defaults to your region. Your client can pay in any currency Stripe supports; conversion happens at the wholesale rate with no Invosi markup.
06Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. Cancel from Settings → Billing in about ten seconds. Your past invoices keep working — clients can still view and pay them. Export everything (CSV or PDF) before you go. No exit fee.
07How does Invosi compare to Stripe Invoicing?
Stripe Invoicing is great if you're already deep in the Stripe ecosystem. Invosi adds a layer Stripe doesn't: a real product UI with white-label checkout on your own domain, built-in Stripe Connect for marketplaces and agencies, real-time VIES validation, and a flat monthly price so you're not paying 0.4% on every invoice.
